Polished iron 20 bore round barrel marked “PRO VED” and engraved “STAMFORD”; the oval form lock-plate engraved “EDGSON” has an oval swan-neck cock and early form of frizzen without a bridle, the early form trigger with reverse loop, plain substantial walnut full stock, brass trigger guard with acorn finial, solid side-plate and early form grotesque face buttcap, complete with wooden ramrod.
Excellent Overall Condition for an early pistol nearly 260 years old. OA 33cm, Brl 18cm
