A Fascinating NAZI German Peenemünde Wall Plaque
Peenemünde was the NAZI Secret Research Centre on the Baltic Coast and was known as “HVP”; its technical director was Wernher von Braun. It operated from 1936 to 1945 and was the development site of many NAZI secret projects including the V2 rocket, close circuit television and rumoured space exploration program. British “Operation Crossbow” was the bombing of Peenemünde.
The plaque is oval cast iron with Silvered Eagle, Swastika and lettering. Fine Condition. OA 20cm x 16.5cm
