Very Rare Antique British Armstrong 7-Pdr Studded Shells
Produced in the late 1860s for the rifled muzzle loading (RML) cannon. These are original hollow iron projectiles with six copper studs that “grip” the rifling; known as canister shells, these would be filled with ball shot and used with devastating effect. Excellent Condition for 150 year old projectiles. Black painted finish.
