Imperial German Forester’s Hirschfänger
A beautiful hunting short sword dating from around 1900 with staghorn grip mounted in brass including fluted pommel, crossguard ending in stylised deer hooves, fluted shell guard, the single edged steel blade profusely etched both sides with hunting scenes and maker’s mark for Clemens & Jung Solingen, complete with brass mounted leather scabbard.
