Extremely Rare .303 BSA Mk I “stripped” Aircraft Model Lewis Guns
The world’s first aircraft machine gun fire was demonstrated in the USA in June 1912 using a Lewis Gun. Our examples are BSA Model 1914 Mark I guns stripped for aerial use; the barrels are fitted with cone-shaped muzzle brakes, post foresights, elevating rearsights and spade handles. They are complete with 47-round dish magazines. They are in Superb Condition with most original blue finish. DEACTIVATED to EU/UK Specification with fixed bolt, moving cocking handle and removable magazine. Complete with EU/UK Proof House Certificate. OA 105cm, Brl 74cm.
