Scarce WW2 British 1” No2 Mk5  Signal Pistol

During WW2  Berridge & Co, who were knitting machine manufacturer, were contracted by the British Government to make this flare pistol. Broad Arrow mark on frame, lug on left side of barrel which indicates use by the RAF who used this to lock the pistol to the fuselage before firing. Fine Condition.

DEACTIVATED to current UK Specification with moving parts, These do dry-fire. (Signal Pistols are allowed to Cock & Dry Fire) Complete with UK Proof House Certificate. Brl 9cm
