A Scarce Antique English Officer’s Flintlock Holster Pistol by Barnett circa 1810
The 20 bore brass barrel part round and part octagonal with London Proof and fitted with bead and V sights, the top flat engraved “MINORIES LONDON”; plain side-lock with roller frizzen and swan-neck cock, the plate engraved “E&T BARNETT”; fully stocked in plain walnut with brass pipes and broad loop trigger guard, the butt with steel locking plate to take a detachable shoulder stock (not supplied), there is an old repair to a stock chip (not a break) on left side but otherwise
Fine Condition. Pistols with stock fitting and brass barrel are rather rare. OA 37cm, Brl 23cm.
