A Beautiful cased Pair of English Flintlock Duelling Pistols by Blake London circa 1780
Browned octagonal Damascus 24 bore barrels with London Proof; engraved steel locks with swan neck cocks and safety bolts, very slender walnut stocks with chequered diamond and dot grips, the brass trigger guards engraved with trophies of flags and with acorn finials.
In baize lined fitted mahogany case containing bullet mould, powder flask, oil bottle, loading rod and flints, the lid with brass ring handles and escutcheon. One pistol has minor stock chips at muzzle, but a superb pair of slender lightweight duelling pistols in Fine Condition for the discerning collector.
