Antique Nepalese EIC Pattern 1771 Flintlock Brown Bess Muskets
A very nice example of the Brown Bess used by the Nepalese Gurkha soldiers in the early 19th century. The original iron 12 bore barrels stamped with a Nepalese “twin foot mark”, the original iron locks engraved with a Nepalese temple flanked by two lions. The hardwood stocks with brass military furniture, iron sling swivels and iron ramrod. These examples have been restored to Excellent Crisp Condition retaining faded original finish on iron parts, the stocks are hand-wax polished. The most reasonably priced Brown Bess muskets on the market today. You will be delighted. OA 140cm, Brl 100cm.
