NAZI German Pattern SS HIAG Identification Pin

Created after WW2 by Brigadeführer Otto Kumm to identify former SS members for mutual self-help as they did not qualify for state pensions. Membership rose to 20.000 and it was disbanded in 1992.

It takes the form of a black enamelled stick pin.
